well, but first, where r u from actually?  and whats your name? :-)

em..  first introducing myself:

im a chinese girl, 14 yrs old now, i like writing long letters (i bet u know that~)

i love music and food!   and i loooove cooking toooooo!!      what can u cook?~

 

i could play a traditional chinese instrument called Zheng (u could have a look on the internet~  it really sounds beautiful!)

and i just learned a little drums   cause i love rock~

 

i really like eating goodies! well, my tongue is quite sensitive, at least i do think so~~  heh.. ^ ^

so, my ideal job is chef (or could be a cook, i dont care~)

 

and i would love to travel around the whole world if 2012 isnt ture~

i like travel too, but actully chinese people is not that easy to go out of the country,

and till now, i travelled in china only..

and i dont know why, seems like in my deep feeling, i love desert ^ ^ !  really~ and, if i have enough money, i would like to go to desert one time~

but i also want to go to Xizang province in china either, i know thats a very amazing and different and beautiful place~ (strong suggestion to u!)

 

i also like watching movies and reading...

 

i live in a small city near the sea, called LianYunGang~ its not as famous as Shanghai or Beijing that kind of big city

but its in the richest province in china, and very closed to the Pacific, and is the nearest city in china from Japan~

 

and im in junior high, 8th grade (we have grade in china, i dont know if u guys do have too~)

  

and,im not very good at sports actually, well but i like swimming and skating~

 

thats cool u can speak a little chinese, i think it might be difficult for foreigers..

and till now  i could only speak chinese and english~

 

and u can ask anything about me or china~  i would love 2 help u~~

Updated Version of My Jamestown Nightmare Reflection

Jamestown was a nightmare because the Native-Americans were bad people. They shot the English with their bow and arrows. The Native-Americans were good at guerilla warfare so the English could not shoot back. The English had special armor. The suit weighed 26 pounds, the hat had a rim around the bottom to protect them from bullets, and the sword had a special handle where if anything hit their hand nothing would hurt.


 Pocahontas saved John Smith and The colonist’s life. She bought the jewelry that he offered and they got corn in return. He went back to the fort.  John Smith and the colonists had built a fort to give the colonists food. They built the fort and by the end of construction they had fewer than 50 people. They died because they needed water and they only had salt water. They drank salt water which was bad. The water itself was bad. This caused their brain to get a signal to drink more. If our bodies don’t get good water they give a signal to get water out of our cells.

My AMAZING Pen Pal!

I decided to choose my pen-pal from China. China sounds so terrific and amazing to learn about. My pen-pals name is Amanda. She can speak English and Chinese and she is 13 years old. I really like her because she likes to COOK!! I was so happy when I read that. Having a pen-pal in China will help me learn a little bit more about it.

Amanda lives in China and I really hope to get an e-mail back from her. My e-mail just talked about my interests and why I would love to be her pen-pal. I sent her my Skype name and I asked her a few question. Here are my questions:
1) What are you favorite sports? DO you like to play music, what instruments do you play? 3) If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be and why? I think this is a great learning experience for everyone and I can't wait to get an e-mail back from Amanda! She sounds super sweet and I can't wait to learn more about her.
